The core of the business. Premium flower, pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls sold under blk mkt™, Tenzo™, Treehugger™ and Flowr™ in B.C., Ontario, Québec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Atlantic Canada and the Territories, with additional provincial markets actively being pursued.

Export / international

A pioneer in shipping premium cannabis flower worldwide since August 2021, with primary export markets in Israel, Australia and Germany. Our three largest facilities hold GACP and ICANN-GAP certifications from the IQC in Israel.

Domestic B2B

Recognised within the Canadian industry as a leading cultivator of premium flower, Avant sells bulk lots to other licensed producers seeking to leverage the quality of our flower — typically at a premium price.

Medical

Avant Medical (formerly GreenTec™) reaches qualified patients nationwide through our online portal and licensed partners, bypassing the markups associated with provincial boards.

International

Repositioning in Europe.

The trademark licensing agreement with Adjupharm GmbH (a subsidiary of IM Cannabis Corp.) has been terminated.
All blk mkt™ trademark and distribution rights in Germany and Switzerland revert to GreenTec effective May 31, 2026.
Germany is Avant's largest international export market, as reported in Fiscal 2025 results.
A formal partner search is underway, vetting distributors on market leadership, fiscal and operational maturity, and strategic infrastructure.

Norton Singhavon

Founder, CEO & Director

Norton has extensive experience in capital investments, acquisitions, consolidations, and start-ups in the legal cannabis sector. He has deployed over $100 million into the North American cannabis industry and has been involved in numerous public M&A cannabis transactions.

Jeremy Wright

Chief Financial Officer

Jeremy Wright is a seasoned executive with over 20 years' senior management experience, specializing in finance and strategic planning. He played a pivotal role in the growth and success of GTEC Holdings (rebranded to Avant and uplisted to the TSX in 2021), serving as the company's founding CFO.

David Buckle

SVP Cannabis Operations

David has extensive legal cannabis cultivation experience, having worked for multiple Licensed Producers. His specialty is building and running purpose-built indoor cultivation facilities, with a focus on premium quality cannabis. David also has a robust knowledge of Health Canada laws & regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and the Canadian cannabis market.

Derek is a partner at Spence Valuation Group, where he specializes in business valuation, mergers & acquisitions and financial litigation support. Derek has extensive experience in the valuation of privately-held companies for purchase & sales transactions, shareholder disputes, and corporate reorganizations and estate freezes.

Dale Whiddington

Operations Manager, Master Grower

Dale has a deep knowledge of all aspects of cannabis operations and cultivation. He has worked at various Licensed Producers, and built a practical understanding of diverse cannabis cultivation techniques. In recent years, Dale has participated in multiple Health Canada audits, enhancing his knowledge of the Canadian cannabis regulatory framework.

David Sandomirsky

Operations Manager

David has been involved in operations for large-scale indoor cannabis cultivation facilities across North America. David's extensive knowledge and skillset focuses on systems, operations and management of cultivation, fertigation, harvesting and packaging. He is also responsible for managing multiple teams, across all facilities within the GTEC group of companies.

Dr. Rubens Coelho

Plant Scientist

Dr. Coelho is a plant scientist with over two decades of academic experience. He is one of the responsible managers supporting cultivation and operations at AVANT, overseeing the full lifecycle of cannabis production. Driven by the intersection of science, operational excellence, and culture, Dr. Coelho focuses on translating complex plant biology into scalable, efficient production systems that elevate product quality.

A recognized leader in innovation and product development, he drives both the creation and commercialization of our products.
